Spectra Ball

My art was included in the Spectra Ball, in San Francisco. The curator is also pulling together shows with the Finch Mob, which is a very good thing.

Pioneering in fiction

I have made my new writing site, as I have 8 short stories out in current issues, at once. I'm calling for a whole new genre of writing. Check out Lucid Fiction in the nav bar.

Much ado about Interviews

I've been busy lately answering excellent questions by Clare, at www.Southern_Hum.com which is currently available now, and by Gary, at www.globalinnervisions.com, which will be available in April. I am featured in both magazines as a stort story writer and as an artist.

I'm glad to keep my hand in the art world a little bit these days, though I am limited because my hard drive cable broke. Buy some art so I can fix it. And so I can renew my main art site. Keep art alive.

current Spartan Dog magazine, with Tantra

Spartan Dog is one of my all time favorite online magazines, quite dark, but just excellent art. check out the current issue. Just let it run, enjoy the art. Mine is the last one, and that is the only way to see it. It has sound that makes the whole viewing experience dreamy. we'll be doing shows, books, all kinds of great things in the future.

Press release about upcoming show

CALADAN GALLERY “ANCIENT INFLUENCE” “TANTRA BENSKO: METAPORTALS” “LAURA EKLUND: GESTURAL UNITS” FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRESS CONTACT: Marjorie Kaye @Caladan Gallery (978) 741-7979 CALADAN GALLERY presents a juried exhibition mirroring the many facets of antiquity in “Ancient Influence”. This is a 30-artist exhibition which evolved around the interpretations of the individuals, and presents a time line of incorporation. From the beginnings of human expression, to the its evolution through the ages, the work in this exhibition reveals the myriads of ways in which these influences are evident in the contemporary realm. This work is innovative and exciting, each of the artists having relayed their honor of the past, and interweaving of it into the present. Also presented is a solo exhibition by Tantra Bensko entitled “Metaportals”. The digital works by Ms. Bensko are bewildering doors to an extremely active inner world. Mystifying and electric, her images stir the debris of possibility that resides within our own visions of the universe. Complimenting the complexity of these works are gestural and emotive paintings by Laura Eklund. Her work is a conduit for emotional expression, as well as her awareness of Divinity and the Unknown. This artist doesn’t separate the two, and one gets the sense that she steps into her emotive queries constantly, striving to integrate the common with the mystical. Exhibition dates are January 5 – February 4, 2006. For more information please call (978) 741-7979 or email us at director@caladangallery.com.
