This is a 30-artist exhibition which evolved around the interpretations of the individuals, and presents a time line of incorporation. From the beginnings of human expression, to the its evolution through the ages, the work in this exhibition reveals the myriads of ways in which these influences are evident in the contemporary realm. This work is innovative and exciting, each of the artists having relayed their honor of the past, and interweaving of it into the present. Also presented is a solo exhibition by Tantra Bensko entitled “Metaportals”. The digital works by Ms. Bensko are bewildering doors to an extremely active inner world. Mystifying and electric, her images stir the debris of possibility that resides within our own visions of the universe. Complimenting the complexity of these works are gestural and emotive paintings by Laura Eklund. Her work is a conduit for emotional expression, as well as her awareness of Divinity and the Unknown. This artist doesn’t separate the two, and one gets the sense that she steps into her emotive queries constantly, striving to integrate the common with the mystical.
